In some situations, coated outdoor screws are not sufficient, and maximum corrosion protection is desirable. Consider, for example, applications in modified wood types such as Accoya® and Kebony®, or in wood types containing extremely high levels of tannins, such as oak. The use of stainless steel screws is also necessary in aggressive environments, such as directly on the coast, or for fastenings in combination with stainless steel fittings. For these applications, Dynaplus is now introducing its trusted Universal, Decking, Fitting, and Facade screws in a stainless steel A4 version. The new A4 screws combine maximum corrosion resistance with the proven design and ease of use for which Dynaplus is known: light, fast, and easy to drive in.

For most outdoor applications, the well-known Dynaplus AR-coated screws remain the best choice. Coated hardened steel screws are generally stronger and more cost-effective than stainless steel screws, and therefore remain ‘the best for outdoors’ for regular outdoor applications.

A2 and A4 stainless steel cannot be re-hardened and are consequently softer than hardened steel. However, thanks to a unique manufacturing method, the new Dynaplus stainless steel A4 screws are stronger than many comparable stainless steel A2 and A4 screws on the market. As a result, the risk of breakage during screwing is significantly reduced.
